    So…. broscience. Okay.

Nothing wrong with that, really. That’s a big part of why we are here, to share our experiences and create a knowledge base for ourselves and others to utilize. Kinda hard to find a lot of solid studies with AAS compounds used how we approach them. That said I do think it important to acknowledge when we have made this leap. We always have to take these things with a grain of salt.

I have run EQ once, many years back. I went straight on to 800mg/wk because I had been advised that it was weaksauce but served some use at higher doses. I experienced the hunger side effect as something more like a uncomfortable blood sugar crash feeling and my blood got WAY too thick (keep in mind this was with drol and test). Dropped it altogether and never looked back. If I was to do it again I would run it lower, with a moderate dose of test alongside and nothing else, to see where that got me.

    Respect.

I’ve used a couple of different brands of test p over the years and didn’t have any post injection pain issues with either.

GTmtb is right, it doesn’t mean anything.

I have seen this pop up time and time again and I have never seen anything to back it up. Is this something where we have to settle for broscience or do you have info that I do not?

Theoretically, yes. Nolvadex will reduce IGF-1 and do nothing to address estrogenic sides barring gyno. You will also hear that Nolva will sensitize PGR receptors and can cause additional issues with 19nors, something where your AI has no such problems.

    Now a few more thoughts:

The advantage to AI vs Nolva is that your AI will prevent gyno AND keep estrogen in check.

You’ll see every time when someone reports beginnings of gyno Nolva is recommended vs an AI because there is solid evidence it can reverse some of the gyno and certainly stop more from occurring.

Now…. over here in experience and reality land… I have personally run Nolva through a couple of cycles and it works just fine, with no out-of-hand bloat or BP issues to report during those cycles. Do keep in mind that these are just my personal experiences and my cycles in question involved lower doses than a lot of what you see on this board. However, lots of experienced lifters doing more than 250 or 350 of test find Nolva totally adequate. I think there is a tendency for people to overdo it with their AI, whereas Nolva won’t bomb your estro levels like that if you get triggerhappy.

    Not recommended.

This cycle will definitely suppress your natural testosterone production. I’m sure I don’t need to explain to you that testosterone is a nice thing to have floating around in your body as a man.

On top of that, winny at that dosage with nothing else would make for a pretty weak cycle anyway.

In all honesty I only shoot my quads because I find it easy and convenient and it has never given me any problems. I do at least switch back and forth between the two sides, though.

Fenix7 has a point that volume, irritation, scar tissue, and whatever is best spread out aBambss multiple sites. I think it’s worth noting that while we say that site enhancement is bs there is a bit of truth to it, even if it’s just from the oils stretdark_sideng muscle fascia and possibly causing minor irritation– and who wants to be lopsided? What you might get away with on one low-volume cycle is not good, sustainable practice.
