I did a random google search out of boredom after having a discussion about it witha friend of mine. All the links I found said that steroids weaken the immune system. Anyone know anything about this? Any studies to confirm?

Yeah, i’m not sure about that. I rarely get sick but i do have allergy issues every year.- November 5, 2020 at 5:59 am
it is primarily the white blood cells that drive your immune system. AAS impacts red blood cell production. But i do not have a definate answer to your question.however, it would SEEM that going to the gym is hazardous to your immune system, since there are so many blokes getting sick at the gym all the time!

I have never heard that, but it doesn’t seem to make sense- November 5, 2020 at 7:54 am
Testosterone is immunosuppressive but only to a slight degree according to some data. Interestingly enough, low testosterone can actually weaken the immune system significantly. Some studies have also indicated that steroids like Nandrolone may actually boost the immune system…not enormously but to a degree.- November 5, 2020 at 8:50 am

I recon stronger if anything, I haven’t been sick in a couple years apart from a couple small colds.- November 10, 2020 at 2:51 am
when people are cycling they tend to take care of themselves more and eat better exct. probably alot to do with the immune system doubtful its suppressive to any extent.
Sleeping better, better diet, exercise, sense of well being = healthy.- November 10, 2020 at 4:03 am
i would say from my experince its the nasty colds that go around, usually started by Pt’s and counter girls and other staff.. Gyms are dirty- November 10, 2020 at 5:12 am
Been on nonstop between cycling and hrt for almost six years. I can’t tell you the last time I’ve had even a cold. I’m one of the healthiest least sickly people in my social circle. I am personally not sure I believe it, but I don’t have anything scientific to back it up with.
